Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

After payday so I can buy all the fenceposts he needs to put in!
I know teenagers eat.... I mean three year olds. I have never seen a little kid actually eat a meal. Just parents begging them to eat, and kids that push it around and then feed it to the dog.

Three year olds do eat. Just not consistently, or neatly.
To: Corin Stormhands
Prove it. Prove something actually goes in.

I just know baby animals, and they eat a ton. Sometimes bigger portions than an adult.
I look at baby people and I don't see basic survival instinct! They won't eat!

If they won't eat, when they're about four, you take 'em and drop 'em off inside a grocery store...

Okay, cover me. I'm leaving and the boss is still here. He's got a lot of nerve coming to work when it's 81 degrees outside...
May not be back on tonite. Jr. has an 8:00 p.m. ball game. By the time I get home and get stuff ready for tomorrow, I need to be in bed. For some reason when I stay up after midnite, I just can't seem to get up at 4:00 to go work out...I'm not sure why...
Later.

Other subject, back for a bit of afternoon work. Hello again everyone.

I'm fixing to get the rest of your mint in it's permanent home....plant some stuff...play in the yard.
Talk to ya later! :)

Okay, I looked in my herb books. Lots of information and basically what I was thinking. The things that are native to the Mediterranean area such as oregano, rosemary, thyme...
Also, stuff from the southwest here. Sage, santolina, aloes. The aloe and rosemary may not winter where you are but if you want to plant them as annuals they would be good in the sand.
