Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Yes, the bank will give me some more...but I have to pay for them...which I'm going to have to do at least one more time...because when I ordered the checks, they want a cancelled check sent to them! Sigh.

The post office will take them...I print them up nice so that they look almost like the "real mccoy" so to speak. But eventually, Steve and I will probably use this account for something else some day...so I might as well get some checks for it.

No hurry! That would be great...hopefully I get plant it this weekend, but if it's still cold, I have a pot I can put it in for awhile. I hope it survives!

As long as it makes the trip through the mail alive it will survive. It's the most survivingest plant I know except maybe Johnson Grass or Mesquite trees. Mine survives and stays green even covered with ice and snow when we get it here. You see these green things under the little bit of Texas snow when we get it.

I'm ashamed to admit that I have, at least temporarily, given up on the game. I cannot get Frodo out of the Shire!

I found the deed and got it to Lobelia, but when I give the keys to the Gaffer, that's where it all goes wrong! I cannot get out without being caught by the Black Riders!!

I'm feeling inspired to try it again though.

Maybe I should start again and make Frodo a nasty, cruel, rude hobbit and just ignore Sandyman altogether. I should play it some more especially since I went and bought a new video card to play it.

They are pretty easy to get away from in the movie.... just thrwo some carrots!

They give Frodo a few rocks to toss, but let's face it - it's pretty scary to throw a rock and trust that the noise will send the Black Rider far enough away to make the escape!

I only have the PS2 version and I actually have only played it once. I got sidetracked by GTA: Vice City. I've only been playing that one for the last few weeks!

I like Assault too... but mostly just "kill everyobody" deathmatch.
