The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Where did I say it was g'nad with the little hatchet? Hmmm....Maybe I misread, but I was under the impression that only g'nad provided a photo. Are you saying that they were BOTH in the pic?

Thanks Pip! I feel very good today.
My mom did me the favor of cleaning up outside so that I wouldn't have to do it. It was still heartwrenching to look out there and not see him or his toys and stuff though. The yard seems so "sterile" now. :(

Where can I get some cheap checks? Plain old checking account checks...do you know? Hmmmm? - If you have money in the bank they give them to you. Never tried to just buy them!

Haven't played it enough yet to have a preference. Haven't played anything but the Deathmatch to practice. I liked it! the maps are fancier... I like that they are starting to be able to do outdoor maps with trees that don't look like cardboard cutouts!

And actually.... I like the guns better.... they are still space age, but the shoot more like real weapons... can kinda 'feel' recoil on them, and with the new rotary cannon, my whole boddy shakes when I fire it....BaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBaBa Bam!

You have to buy your checks with this account. I ran out of checks for the Hobbit Hole Account, they gave me 8 free ones to start with till I could order new ones...which I never did, because I thought I could just use the free debit card that came with it. Which I can, for purchasing items, but I can't at the post office, because it's just a small place in the back of an ACE hardware store and doesn't have a credit card setup. So, I've used the checks up and now I want to get some more for the future....what do you think of this?
http://secure.checksinthemail.com/acb/webpage.cfm?&DID=6&&DID=6&WebPage_ID=119&DID=6 Heck, I don't care what they look like!

Oh yeah, the graphics are far more superior, that's for sure. I just don't see the point of UT 2003 as it's really not *different*. But then, maybe they weren't aiming for that.
I would go over to my friend's house and play Deathball with them on their 3 computers, but found it very very redundant. I prefer "Battlefield 1942" for a great multiplayer game.
To: 2Jedismom
Sure... Actually.... I bet the bank would give you more counter checks if you asked.... If the post office would take those! Or, order them.... they look like they are cheap. I would get the plain ones from the bank where the account is and keep it simple!

Haven't played that! - I just like to play online UT deathmatch. No point - just kill everybody!
A 'capture the flag' or other team game would be fun if I was sometime playing with people I know, but I have not played it very many times where people actually worked together, it was still a free-for-all.

Hm...maybe these aren't tulips, then. As I recall, they had little leaves. I've seen daffodils come up...are tulips more like that? They have leaves. But, like spear leaves. Don't pull anything up till you're sure. When in doubt let it grow till you know.
