Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

They ain't in my possession. You'll have to ask Stinky.
To: Corin Stormhands; g'nad
Ask stinky, he says. Who... happens to not be available.
One disappointment after another!

Sorry. It was his camera...
And apparently ksen doesn't want to share...
To: Corin Stormhands
Uh huh. Story of my life.
We were promised drunken dwarf moons.

Quiet day in the hobbit hole... Everbuddies afeared to come back 'cause we might post them pictures...
To: g'nad; Corin Stormhands
btw, ksen, you got male...Heh, I'm just glad I opened that without my kids around. Ya know, I always thought Dwarves had HUGH battle axes, instead I find that the most common "weapon" is a little hatchet. ;^D

That is very sad, Ruthy, about Dino, I am very sorry.
We put our old lab, June to sleep last year, at the age of 14, so I know how you feel.
Dogs are great friends, they love their masters without condition.
Yeeeeuck! I just found out (by glancing at the newspaper) that Clinton was in Minneapolis yesterday. I was downtown yesterday too. Not sure exactly where he was at, but thank goodness I didn't see him. :-P
To: ksen; g'nad
Figgers that'd be the first place you looked...

LOL! When he came to Ramstein AB in Germany while I was there (though I was at a neighboring base - about thirty minutes away), they basically drew names and told certain people that they WOULD be there as the "crowd". For the media, I guess! It was pretty sad...they couldn't get enough volunteers, hence they more or less ordered people to go.
The military didn't have a lot of love for Clinton, at least not most of the people I knew.
To: Corin Stormhands
Oh I know! God only knows what airborne diseases were floating around!

"It was pretty sad...they couldn't get enough volunteers, hence they more or less ordered people to go."That is really funny. And not at all surprising.

A dwarf-in-training! This was e-mailed from my mom earlier. (Christy is my sister, Paul her husband and Leroy (5) and Jake (2) are their kids.)
"While I was talking to Christy today, Leroy found a wasp or bee or something on the ground. He had gotten stung last week, so when he saw this one he went and got Paul's hatchet and killed it, saying, "So you want to be mean?" He told Christy and Jake to stand back, he was strong."
LOL! Now that boy isn't going to take any crap from anyone!
