Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Yes, they do... But the Burka person isn't one of them. He just said that for effect. He does believe that America did everything to prevent it though, which, though it sounds noble, isn't true...

We did stop it, thankfully... but we did not prevent it.

So is Haldar et al. When that Elf army marched into Helm's Deep, we lost all right to make fun of them. They could have behaved like France and just sailed off to the Gray Havens. Instead, they were lions. They died so that men could be free.

My Dad was too young for service in WWII... He served between Korea and Vietnam.

My Step-Dad was in Germany during WWII though. He liked to tell stories, but not War stories, so I never heard many of his, and I wish I would have.
