Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hullo day shift! - I am back home!
Missed the Bush and Blair speeches today, any themes I am missing? - Any big news this morning?
Looks like the problem pics came back, that is good. They were messin' up the thread.
Glad our packages arrived in Afghanistan! (see 22419-20 if you missed the announcement!)
Is anyone going to write nice colorful letters to the troops to include in the next set of boxes? If you are, email them to me, colorful as you like, pictures are fine, I have a nice office color printer. I will need to print them and mail them to 2J, so if you can, please send them soon so I can print and get them in the mail within the next day or two! Include your contact info, mailing address and email addy, if you want the troops to be able to write you back!
Let me know if you don't have my email address.... it is at the yahoo hole if you don't... or I will freepmail it to you. Feel free to send a note as an attachment to keep your formatting, I have Word and Publisher and Frontpage and can open most stuff.
