Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Morning Hole Dwellers!
I'd first like to pray for the families of the soldiers we lost yesterday, both American and British. This loss is devastating to us since these men are literally the "cream of the crop", but nowhere as devastating as it is to their families and friends. Prayers heavenwards for comfort and strength as we rejoice in knowing that they are with the Lord Almighty! Amen.
Let's have a bite to eat before we face the long day of scanning threads, scanning channels and the never ending quest for a live internet feed that actually works!
Pancakes and maple syrup, along with 4 trays of nice, crispy bacon. I've fried up some sausage patties today and made some gravy too, so be sure to grab some of the biscuits on the table for sopping it up with! :)
Fried eggs and grits are on the hot plate and some blueberry muffins and bagels are on the sideboard, along with fresh butter, cream cheese, lox and jelly for fixings. I've placed a bowl of fruit salad there as well for the low-cal Hole Dwellers. ENJOY!
