Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Cool! Oh darn it. I never did figure out my computer problem yet. I will try to deal with it tonight. I don't know if my computer would play properly the way my computer is acting right now x-(

That's right, you said you were in the Air Force.......did you ever consider joining the military? ;^) Never.
I wanted showers, clean sheets and eat real food. They do shoot at people in combat aircraft, however, so there was some downside. Great view though.

Oh NO Ruthie! I just got out of morning class. Am so sorry to hear this. But, again, we are praying.
Not only is it like Corin said, - A place where we can say anything and it'll be okay. But, we're also a place we know where we can go pretty much anytime day or night to gather these prayers.
That's a good thing.

Did you fly?
I am a pilot... not military, but went to commercial pilot school and have a CFI and Multi-Engine commercial ticket.
I am not flying at all these days, unfortunately, my job search took me into Mirkwood and I got lost, but I remember it fondly, and hope to take it up again sometime and get current. It is a hobby not everyone can do.

It's missing! I think they probably shift the times for the West Coast anyway. I'm pretty sure it's on at the same time for Eastern & Central (8 & 7).

Hope he likes it, I am going to tell my nephew to go see it, if he hasn't already, it will be right up his alley. Plus, it would give his Australian wife a look into American history, especially Virginia history, since that is where they live. I could easily watch it again.
I was wondering if what they labelled the Rapahanack River might really have been the James, I was noticing the remnants of an old canal alongside, similar to the old canal alongside the James. Not certain if the Rapahanack ever had one.
Beautiful river, though.
