Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

We are hearing conflicting rumors (Link) about when teaser trailers might be coming out for Return of the King! We have been eagerly waiting for news of a 'preview' trailer that would be tacked onto Two Towers, like they did at the end of the theater run last year. Do you know if they are doing that again? - or when the first teaser trailers might be coming out?
FR has been driving me CRAZY all day! SLOOOOOW!
Ok...I need opinions! I have a tattoo on my right ankle. It's a butterfly and it is in color. I've been wanting to get another tattoo on my shoulder blade, but have been debating what to get. I don't want to get another color one. I want a smaller one just in black.
Then it occured to me today, why don't I get something Elvish like those actors got. So....is there a site I can go or do you guys have any ideas of what I can get? Where is there the Elvish alphabet or maybe just some Elvish characters....any ideas?
Or any other LOTR related ideas that would be cool? I was thinking Elvish because the language looks really pretty.

Ok, first off I appolige if this has already been brought to your attention, but I laughed my butt off when I read this review at www.alexa.com for Free Republic site. You can rate the site (I rated it 5 stars about 2 months ago). Everyone should rate FR IMHO.

If you want to talk about what's on TV, two days before it's on, FR is the place for you. I have never seen so many morons discussing things that haven't even happened!!! I guess they think they can forsee the future with their magical hobbit powers. Oh yeah, want to see the biggest Lord of the Rings Freak Show? Free Republic is the spot. All I can figure is that they sit on their butts waiting for boring news conferences so they can all chat inanely about it. Today they are talking about the snow storm. It's just snow people!! GO SHOVEL SOME OF IT. Idiots, all of them.
Anyway, you know your a somebody if some jerk complains about ya havin fun. LOL...

Hi Harry, None of these stories have any truth.
As far as I'm aware the first ROTK trailer will hit cinemas about May or June.
We're not doing a ROTK trailer for the end of Two Towers like we did last year. The reason is that the TT extended DVD has been so complex this year, it would have taken too many resources away from trying to get that finished.
The FOTR extended cut had 35 extra CG shots - the TT extended cut has over 150. Weta are plowing through those, plus starting ROTK. We have a huge TT extended cut sound mix in a few weeks. It's all very complex and we deemed an early ROTK trailer as simply too much to take on this time around.
I am loving cutting ROTK! Very happy.
