Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Hey there everyone!

Alyson finally slept through, thank goodness. The Dimetapp did the trick! Yippee!

Lemme see what kinda breakfast I can stir up here. Hmmmm. OK! How about Cuban style pastelitos (sorta like lembas) with either meat, guava, cheese or guava and cheese in them. I fixed some coffee, as well as, some cafe con leche. Blueberry or banana nut muffins are fresh from the oven, if you like. Of course, I do have some scrambled eggs and bacon on the hot plate for anyone who wants a hot meal. ENJOY!!

Corin - prayers still continue your way from Miami. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to get Jr interested in his grades when he seems so resistant in doing so! AAARRGGHH! I like g'nad's idea about taking him to homeless shelters and prisons though. It helps to kick in that "self-preservation" mode we all have.

Me too 2JM... we will have to get the kids together while the adults enjoy the view...

I'm headin out to Missouri next week (leavin' on Tuesday) to check the homestead over and do a good turnover with the former owners... we are on very good terms with them... gonna go through the house soup to nuts and see just how everything works... power, water, gas wiring, switches, etc... walk the boundaries, check and photograph the survey markers... We'll get back the followin' Tuesday...

Takin' our new digital camera, so we'll take lotsa pics... I'll share 'em with y'all, if yuh want to see 'em...

The posts that were removed were made by a completely different person. One now-banned person made all the pulled posts!

It is a strange thread to choose to self-destruct on! - But before he was nuked (All surfin's posts have been nuked back to at least to january) I saw that much of his activity at FR was pretty disruptive.

We got family 4 hours away, and friends about an hour away that can check in...

Marvin (the former owner) said he'd check in too... they're supposed to be out in April, and hopefully we can get in the end of April before the baby comes...If we can't, we'll tell 'em they can stay longer... they're workin' on their new place, so they'd appreciate it...

That DVD-Rom I received yesterday is really fantastic. I'm going to print out and laminate bookmarks for each of you to give out at Entmoot. Characters on the bookmarks will go according to which Race each person associates themselves with, or favorite character! So everyone is welcome to make their requests now, keeping in mind that this particular software only has characters from Fellowship. Yes, even good ol' Boromir! *grin*

I plan on printing out a calendar for myself tonight. :)
