Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

WHEW! Finally done catching up. Now maybe I can start getting some work done LOL
BTW...I had GREAT news Friday night! My sister is pregnant again! This will be her third child. This is happening at a meaningful time. My grandfather, as you know, just passed away, so it's a "one life passes on, a new life is born" sort of deal. And the life that has just started wouldn't have been possible without my grandpa. It's really a neat thing.

They say the single post is the first thing to go... yep, and i got 3 of em in here before it was all said and done. dumb computer. i kept slamming the enter key because it wasn't doing nothing on my screen. then i rebooted and they were everywhere.

YES babies are wonderful, but yes they are the ones that live out in Oregon :-( !!
I was going to go out there sometime early this year to visit, but I think I'll make it later this year now! I want to hold that new baby! :-D She has 2 sons right now. I want her to have a girl, but of course I'll be happy with another boy! Here they are:
Leroy is on the bottom, Jake on top :-D It's a bit older...I think it's from last year.
