Hi Jen! I'm fine, thanks... still deeply immersed in thinking about the movie. ;) I enjoyed your analysis and review, by the way, it was very thoughtful and thought-provoking.
I'm busy reading the sections with Faramir and Frodo in Ithilien, looking for parts I can quote in a post! :)

Time to do a new poll in the Yahoo hole and get a final date set, so we can get it planned. Ksen needs a date so he can coordinate with NASA for the shuttle launch. Oh... and the other minor arrangements like where to stay and tickets to get there!
To: RMDupree
I'm already ready for the Extended Version.
(Ent-ended Version?)

My evil little sisters went to see it again today while I was slaving away. The stinkers!

How fun... Yeah, it's a real hoot. The horsey poo conversation was far more stimulating. /sarcasm
Must do it though. My hubby is not computer savvy and had downloaded two nasty viruses in less than a month. I had to use the recovery disk to fix the PC after both of them were finally removed.
And after all of this, you know what he asked me tonight? He asked if I would download KaZaA for him again. AAARRGGHH! That's where he got the others from to begin with! (both had .exe extensions and even though I told him not to download anything like that, he still did)

Good evening! I can believe it... Rose and I are still discussing it, and in nearly every discussion one of us says "We're going to have to see it again!" Our current plan is to go and see a matinee on Christmas Eve (We saw FOTR for the first time on Christmas Eve last year.)

Yes, that would be nice! Can ksen get me a tour of the space shuttle while he's at it?
Ok, who wants to room with me? I don't snore!

Glad you liked my thoughts, Bear. They just... came out. Tolkien brings out my inner wordsmith.

Good luck with the shopping. I went to Toys R Us today and it was a nightmare!
My advice at this point is to hit the lesser shopped stores like Linens N Things, Walgreens, etc. Going to WalMart or anything like that right now is suicide.
To: RMDupree
He was as a shade at night and his horsey poo glowed in the dark like dying embers of heated coal... Yeah, but did it compost well?
To: JenB; ksen
Oh I will Jen... Maybe ksen can find us a big ole beach house for rent... you know - that sleeps 20? Maybe has a big screen TV in it? - It isn't a bad idea!
To: RMDupree
Going to WalMart or anything like that right now is suicide. Then my life is forfeit.

I certainly hope there's more of everything in the EE, especially the Ents.
I'd really like to see more of Smeagol as well. I was bitterly disappointed that his "Don't want fish" comment to Faramir was not present.
To: HairOfTheDog
Hee!
I told my dad that if Faramir's character hadn't been so messed up, he would have been even more "wow" than Aragorn. How is a girl to choose?

That sounds like a great idea, actually.
Even a bed and breakfast would be nice. I'm sure the home owners would accomodate a bunch of quiet, bookish Tolkien geeks. :)
Easy on the pints, girls. We've got an image to maintain. *wink*
To: Overtaxed
Yeah, but did it compost well? I hear that it did actually...and the elves were green with envy for they never had seen such magnificent poo!
To: JenB
How is a girl to choose?Sigh! None of the three major female characters appealed to me... although after ROTK I suspect Eowyn will be my favorite!
To: HairOfTheDog
Have you asked yourself lately..."How did it come to this?"
To: RMDupree
So Sam would have been better off with a box of Shadowpoo rather than Galadriel dirt.
To: RMDupree
Count me in for anything except actual pints!
