Sorry I don't know anything about HCG levels but I wish you the best.

Ping for my wife due in June. She might be able to shed some light on this.
Our prayers are with you.

Having suffered two miscarriages myself, I can tell you that HCG levels are very important. What also is important is the fetal heart rate (anything over 120 to 130 beats per minute is good). I had both miscarriages at 7 weeks. The first sign I experienced was bleeding or spotting. For the first, I did go in for a sonogram and there was a fetus there, however, the heart rate was very low (about 85 beats per minute) and the bleeding continued to get heavier. My second miscarriage is what they call a "blighted ovum." This is when there is a gestational sac present, but no fetal pole or embryo is present in the sac.
I really wish the best for you and your wife. God is the giver of life and I consider all my pregnancies a gift even though two never made it. However, I have hope that one day I will meet up with these children in heaven. By the way, I have 4 beautiful children so please never give up hope that God will indeed bless you and your wife with the gift of life! Best wishes!
