A persistent protester who recently was arrested for scaling the front gate of the White House This Diane Wilson, 54yrs, from Seadrift, Tx. once climbed the fence of Union Carbide and climbed a tower.
She was protesting air pollution or something. My husband - a supervisor - said instead of calling the police, they let her stay up there in the near 100 digree heat for a number of hours!!
Strangely, she has the same name as the county clerk at Fort Bend!!
Yes she does have the same name, interesting but means nothing I suppose. I found a picture of her on the net showing the tower and a banner she had drapped from the ladder she had climbed up..... She has ties to some different protest groups. Different info on the net about her escapdes.
