Well now, it seems that some of my kindred spirits have taken up the enemy's own weapon and put a true fox amongst the hens with this.

Imagine, being forced to concede that the South might actually have an element of righteous multiculturalism of its own. Especially after having to admit that the "angry-white-male-southern-redneck-gun-toting-racist-christian-pig" sniper was actually a treasured "african-american-peace-loving-muslim".

Hmmm, let me check something here. I cannot seem to remember exactly whose culture treasures its children, adores its women, attends church on a regular basis, and has only gone to war to defend its own rights, lands, and families. The same culture also seems to respect different distinct cultures, instead of forcing the blending of them all. Not to mention how much the concepts of honor, loyalty, charity, sportsmanship, honesty, and politeness are interwound in its very fabric.

Now, truth be told, I am, and will always be a Patriotic American. The very things that I have learned growing up Southern have taught me to be proud of my country. I still get chills each and every time I hear The Star Spangled Banner. Whereas Dixie only brings a smile to my face, the National Anthem brings my soul to attention, and warms my heart. I thank God that I am an American. I thank my parents that I am Southern. And I thank my Heritage for teaching me what each one of those things mean. God Bless, and Goodnight from Dixie.

He has a point when he says the public schools shouldn't celebrate minority's holidays to the exclusion of others. The Founder's didn't mean for this to be a society where forced brotherhood is the rule. All of the assaults on our heritage are the end result of Clinton and his PC policy. Now the socialist left in America has taken up the hue and cry, but it only makes me to dig deeper and find more ammo to fight them with. I am resolved that I will fly my battleflag when I wish. They can kiss my Southern grits!

I found it interesting that the author identified the League of the South representative as "a white activist." It's a sad commentary on how our ideas don't matter to the poobahs of culture, only our color. (I don't keep up with the League of the South, so I'm assuming it's a Southern organization, not specifically a White organization. Correct me if I'm mistaken!)

The root problem, as I see it, is that the schools are being used as agencies of indoctrination, as the public schools always have been, and so of course the different constituencies are fighting for their different versions of doctrine! If we had local control of schools - and you can't get any more local than home school! - none of this would have to be a public matter.

FMCDH,
