It is really painful to read the comment thread at AICN when one is used to the caliber of comments here. It is like reading DU. These crass people claim to be able to grasp the writing of Tolkien better than PJ?
AICN Talkbacks are just about worthless. The crude forum format doesn't help matters.
There are a lot of testosterone-ridden, illiterate fanboys over there.
I visit AICN fairly regularly but I usually skip the Talkbacks now. Harry may be overhyped and sometimes disgusting but he does have some good networks of sources out there. And he has Moriarty.
