Oh my. I know JR generally doesn't want to hear about DU material, but this is rich. And pathetic. These DU losers are living in some fantasy world where they imagine that a TV character is the president of the United States. And rather than confront the reality of the Rat losses in the recent midterm elections, they take solace in the fact that the TV president was recently re-elected in a landslide. This is just hilarious.

Every Wednesday night at 8PM I can spend an hour in a world where the US has a real president, who has reelected in a landslide!!! Jed Bartlet is my president.

don't worry we Republicans will be saying: Everyday after [Nov. 5 2004] Tuesday night I can spend many hours in a world where the US has a real president, who has reelected in a landslide!!! George W. Bush is my president.

It's no coincidence that West Wing came about during Clinton's era.

That the liberals can't have a president doesn't mean they won't 'invent' one and just friggin' pretend. They were as embarrassed by Clinton as we were (some of them). But it's like going to a movie. Who wants to admit they paid $8 (voted for Clinton) and it sucked?

West Wing makes them feel good.

Also, it's no coincidence that the West Wing is failing in the Bush43 era.

One of the funnier Letterman lines, post-election:
"At least the Democrats retained control of 'The West Wing.'"

This reminds me of the California legislature -- which reportedly held a moment of silence after one of the characters on the West Wing died. The entire state legislature (and executive) lacking a grasp on reality!
