Yes, I'm sure you're right...my family points that out to me all the time when I go off on a political tangent, which is one of my bad habits...
OTOH, maybe it's had some good side effects, my daughter's first vote of her life was for "W," even though her best friends were from big Democrat families and even though she didn't even tell me she was registered, much less ask who I thought she ought to go for. And my 23 year old son is solidly in our camp also.
