Good morning, All!!! Just had a few minutes before I have to go out and practice a little right-wing capitolism.
I really miss you guys and all that's going on. Unfortunately I generally leave early and get back late. I'm having to go all over middle Tennessee just to make a few bucks.
The last two weeks have been really nuts! First, I'm driving down the road, fortunately about 15 miles an hour when my right front tire literally EXPLODES! Tread flies all over and the steel threads are everywhere! It literally destroyed my fender, since it's made of plastic (On a Caddy, no less). So there's a repair job at $650. Fortunately my comprehensive pays for it.
Then the Blonde has a tire on her Vette blow out, just in a place where it can't be repaired, so there's another $280 for that.
Then on Saturday, the garage door opener decides that it wants to retire. So, off to Home Depot to get a new one and install it last night. The Blonde, at 105 lbs, can't hardly open the 16-foot door so it became an emergency.
So anyway, maybe the crisis time is over for a while.
I hope all is well with you all and know that I miss all the fun and games on FR.

WELL!! What a nice surprise!!! We are MISSING you, among others, but glad you can at least check in once in a while to let us know how you are doing.
Prayers to you and the Blonde for the end of this flat tire spree.

2 full weeks after the election, it is a little known fact that the NEW 7th District of Colorado to the U.S. House STILL has no winner. Even many, if not most, of the people who live in this district aren't even aware of it, since the sheeple pretty much seem to think, "They all do it. It's just politics. It doesn't really matter who gets elected, they're all the same anyway."
For anyone who wants to know more about it: 7th results delayed; Feeley lawsuit a go
This is a result of, IMHO, a liberal judge Gerrymandering this new 7th District, which he drew up after the census of 2000. They have been TOTALLY secretive with the tally of the "provisional" votes. I don't know why that is.
Feeley (a.k.a. little algore), is going to do the democrat thing and sue.

This public service announcement has been brought to you by men everywhere who have given the wrong answer to loded questions!!! When receiving a loaded question, it is often usefull to try to smack the back of the firing pin. The female, astounded at the audacity, will often then retract the loaded weapon to keep it safe. There is no other way.

Dittomom led a push to have McCain recalled. I don't remember when she started it, but she worked hard at it and appeared to have growing support.
Then came 9/11 and she dropped it.

De javu on the appliance thingy breakdowns... First Miss Marple, then someone else Neets?, now you.
What a coinky doink! Last Friday I went to dinner with a friend and the car wouldn't start when we came out of the resturant. a new staerter was in order, then on Saturday night Mr HOB called to say his car wouldn't start after he stopped at the store to p/u my prescriptions. Seems a new battery was in order.... that little gremlin sure gets around.
glad to hear neither one of you was hurt!

watch out around Swedisford Road. and the Penn Turnpike. There are several cases of "you can't get ther from here" as they move exits and roads around.

There is no other way.Yes, I can see where that could be effective. However, I would add this word of caution...ineffective, or clumsy smacking of the firing pin can cause the round to breech, or worse still, explode in the chamber, causing extensive damage and imminent physical harm!

They have always done that in Swedesburg and Swedeland. Don't know why, must be a ___________ thingy! But I grew up there, so I am used to roads that go nowhere and roads that have abrupt endings. It builds versatility and quick thinking inthe young! Right Bit!?!? Help me here...
