In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
circumambient/sur-kuhm-AM-bee-uhnt\, adjective:

Hobbes, i don't know jack about the CFR bill, do you? EOD was wanting to know if it is ok for us as out of staters to contribute to the Landrieu opponent down in LA, or if it could be used against her.

Of course we can. Hard money limits went up.
It's the Soft Money that was restricted, and that hurts Dems.

"Old rules still apply to this race because it is a runoff."
Thanks Joe. Knowing how intensly the dems deem adherence to the letter of the law when it comes to Republicans, I just wanted to make certain.
Thanks and, seriously, the check is in the mail.
Thanks XS.

After working at the polls all day Tuesday, exhaustion set in and though it was apparent that the Conservatives had won across the nation, it wasn't until I woke up Wednesday night that I found out that these victories allowed us to circumambient the opposing party in the House and Senate.

Oh geeze Bella. Sorry, I'm out and I have to go and get more... hurting here. I'll share part of the bottle with you.

Slippy, the first thing that came to mind was "standing on the Bridge, while the First Mate and the Captain talked to us, the hypnotic effect of being circumambient by the Caribbean took hold. The endless horizon of a beautiful blue-green still resides in my mind today, all I have to do is close my eyes for the narcotic effect of the ocean to take place.
