Joe's BBQ in beautiful downtown Gilbert AZ.

It's a relativly new place, but in a restored brick building, right across the street from the "Liberty Market" that's been in business for 75 years or so.

Joe's has awsome brisket that you can pick up from a take out window on the street. The only bad part is that I moved away from Gilbert and its no longer on my way home from work.

It was even great in the early morning, when we'd go to breakfast at another wonderful establishment called the "Farm House" across the street. Walking into the Farm House, you could smell the wood fires being stoked up so they could smoke the BBQ all day long.

No Liquid Smoke at Joe's. It was the real thing.

I have to agree. Joe's in Downtown Gilbert, AZ...The best BBQ I have ever had, it is our family's favorite. I am originally from California, and Kansas City BBQ (was in the movie Top Gun) in San Diego (across from Seaport Village) was great too, but it can't beat Joe's. I have also had BBQ in several other states, but nothing has come close to Joe's, when ever we have company from out of town we always take them there. They have all said it is the best they have ever had, and can't wait to come back for more. In fact we are going there for Dinner tonight!!! Joes Brisket here I come. They have awseome Cheesy Potatoes and BBQ baked beans too!
