Bin Lade-CIA, Help

On another board, someone alleged that the CIA trained Bin Laden. I know this has been debunked. Can someone point me to an article that takes this myth apart?

The United States supported Bin Laden during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, as he was on our side (against the Soviets). Historians generally agree on this. I think you'll be hard pressed to find evidence to the contrary.
Whether the CIA actually trained Bin Laden himself is something we will probably never know.
The United States has had a history of making tough choices like this, and I personally support the ones they've made. Sometimes, the terrorists and evil dictators happen to be on the side of Freedom and Justice. Supporting Bin Laden was strategic, as was support of Saddam Hussein before his invasion of Kuwait.
