From what I read of the reviews, there was very little to like about the movie to begin with, as it portrayed Gleason as an obnoxious, drunken, smoking, cheating, no-good... wait a minute...okay.

They finally broadcast the move a half hour late. I actually liked this TV movie. It didn't bother me that they showed the other side of Gleason. Although a great comedian I knew he wasn't very happy in real life. BTW, even though his early movies stunk, he was GREAT in The Hustler.
