While your religion would not normally be of interest to me, a recent posting by your hero, PatrickHenry, has me puzzled. Being a self-announced Roman Catholic, you must believe that an attack on the church of your faith is an attack on you and the Pope. I am wondering why it took, in my view, non-Catholics to protest vigorously against the attack on the RCC. The protestation was apparently valid since the offending post was pulled. You made no public denouncement of the post. Who is your leader, the RCC or PH?
I don't expect I will get an answer, but the question is raised as a point in line with why someone would have doubts as to your allegiance.
P.S. You might have missed the whole exchange, but that would not affect the conclusions drawn by those observing the actions of those whose company you keep. You know, the birds of a feather thing.
Junior:
To assist you in responding to a question which has just been put to you, it's about a different thread than this one. I made a response (#370, now deleted) addressed to "All" which was motivated by: post 364 by g3k, wherein the usual creationist spew appeared: "That evolution and Communism are tightly joined ideologically is beyond doubt."
We've all responded to such outrageous lies numerous times in the past, and I did so again, in #370. I provided two links, which you've seen before, and which I will not repeat here. I also mentioned people like Swaggart, etc. And in doing so (here's the context that AndrewC so deftly ignored), I specifically stated:
Why do we bring up all these true but goofy examples? Not to discredit creationism, because such "linkages" prove nothing. It is to show the idiocy of anyone's attempting to link communism and evolution. It should also be mentioned that Darwin himself was no communist, and no evolutionist on this website is a communist either. But the mindless ones will continue to try to discredit evolution in this foolish way.In post 375, AndrewC complained to the mods, and wildly distorted the nature of an earlier post and that latest one (#370) by claiming -- out of context -- that I had posted "a link inimical to the interests of the Catholic Church". The overworked mod took him at his word and deleted the post. That's the story.
