Because I felt it was the weaker of the two arguments. But the answer is the same. Would not tons of vegetation being buried under mud and rocks produce oil? Of course, my argument assumes that it doesn't take millions of years to form oil.

Like I said earlier, God created oil. Oil is a natural resource created by GOD! It's not God's responsibility how we use what He gives us! He's letting us live the way WE think is right! Not for much longer though...
