I agree, they use that round because they they do not want the bullet to exit the perp and hit some one else, thus the short range and exploding charachter of the projectile.

The Military likes it because it causes far more injuries, than death, takes two or three soldiers off the battle field to take an injured soldier for treatment. Takes no soldiers off the field if the enemy is dead. Tom
