The networks'
refusal to air the speech (another thread
here) is really quite pathetic, although I think some of them are waiting to see what the others will do. Perhaps they believe that they can sway public opinion by ignoring the public's president. The problem is that some news organization(s)
will cover this speech, and the rest of them will only prove their partisanship by ignoring it.

I don't blame the networks for not carrying the speech: they know their audience and that the channels would be changed to BET, or Friends reruns, or anything else that would not make them think.
The SCOTUS will not hear the NJ Senate case.
