HEY ya big artsy fartsy, what's wrong with country music and war movies, huh? Nothing, my favorite movies are war movies, and being a Kansas kid I couldn't get away from country music. But if that is the end all of your cultural experience and appreciation for the arts, then that's a pretty sad, narrow minded life.

sue me When generalizng about the 'intellect' and 'imagination' of Freepers you don't know, it's beneficial to your rant to spell all the words correctly.
Just a suggestion.

Yes, I know. GENERALIZING.

The "end all of my cultural experience and appreciation for the arts"... Hmmmmm...
I experience and appreciate physics. That trumps art. Bwahaha.
Trying to remember the last Shakespeare play I saw... Hmmmm... Need to get out more... [snortle]

Just a suggestion. Thanks for the suggestion. My point, wether one word was spelled wrong or not, was made.
Have a nice day.
To: realpatriot71
I most certainly will!
Perhaps I will go cavorting through the library, or leisurely strolling through the modern art museum.
Decisions, decisions.

It's a museum, so that can be considered artsy fartsy.

Perhaps I will go cavorting through the library, or leisurely strolling through the modern art museum. Could be fun

Perhaps I will go cavorting through the library, or leisurely strolling through the modern art museum. The last time I cavorted though the library I learned a valuable lesson. Always find a bolthole for when the cops show up before you start cavorting.

It's obvious good poetry isn't your bag. I'm not saying you lack the intellect, just that you haven't used it to its full measure.

I'm not saying you lack the intellect, just that you haven't used it to its full measure. Touche' :-)
"Good" in many cases is an arbitrary adjective - like "they" say, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
To: realpatriot71
. . . Or 'Good' is clearly defined like black and white, day and night. This world is full of yes and no answers. We have accepted limits of what is good and what is crap.
Shakespeare: Good . . . Maya Angelou: Bad (scary bad)
Hemmingway: Good . . . Dennis Lehane: Bad (and one of Klinton's favorte authors)
Monet: Good . . . The trash who did Piss Christ: bad
