Yeah, lots of race baiting, but the very end tonight almost brought a tear to this cold-hearted, social security-stealing, racist right-winger...
Apparently, in the 1910's they had a veterans' reunion or something at Gettysburg and all these old vets lined up to re-enact Pickett's Charge and after the southerners began marching toward Little Round Top or whatever, the north ran down from the top of the hill and started hugging them and crying and stuff.
No doubt there is some great footage, good music. Too many folks get caught up in the presentation and accept the production's view as the gospel. I have different views from Burn's on the War, however, I can appreciate the footage and photographs of our ancestors.
Anyone who has stood on one of those battlefields feels the heavy burden of our forefathers.
