I get attempts to contact my computer from around the world. I have Zone Alarm. Some of them might be ad agencies attempting to send a junk e-mail, others might be sincere hack attempts.

67.117.37.36 has valid reverse DNS of adsl-67-117-37-36.dsl.lsan03.pacbell.net So, where is your friend from?

Chad, I found the following on your profile page:
Age: Can't tell you but I'm still in high school. I think I'm the youngest FReeper
Perhaps some of your high school peers may be playing with you.
Just a thought. ;o)

Possible; I know some self-proclaimed hackers who seem to know what their talking about but I haven't seen them in a while.

You shouldn't post your ip address on the net like that. I just attempted to telnet and ftp to your box. Fortunately I was rejected, but still you don't want to publish that stuff.

How often? This is the first contact I've had in several months. Time: 9/23/2002 4:43:46 PM Time: 9/23/2002 5:41:08 PM Time: 9/23/2002 8:14:14 PM
I have Zone Alarm.
That freeware program? Me too, I love it.

Edmonton, or so he says.

Hmmmmmm,
0 "hack-attacks" Sunday 3 "hack-attacks" Monday 4 "hack-attacks" Tuesday
To: Chad Bagwell
I used to get alarms all the time
when I ran Zone Alarm. As far as
I ever knew they were all benign.

It seems like I get them daily when I log on. It can be two or three times a day. I purchased the ZoneAlarm system, and I am glad I did. I have gotten hits from South America, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, The United States, China, Russia, and France. Whatever system you have is better than nothing.
