I love a good conspiracy theory.

Unfortunately, this one isn't very good.

Why does MSNBC recycle the writings of Antony Sutton or Lyndon LaRouche? For decades, the liberal media have written off conspiracy theories as at worst the rantings of the mentally ill, or at best the overtaxed imagination of unsophisticated folks who do not understand how the world works. From this source, one would think this to be satire.

"Yankees" (in the original sense, white, mostly English-descended Protestants from greater New England) do not control the political, educational, or entertainment spheres in this country, and have been largely eclipsed in their old strongholds of banking and industry. The great-grandfathers of many present day CFR members are as likely to have attended public schools in New York's Lower East Side as to have attended Exeter or similar private boarding schools. It is hard to regard a "Yankee" conspiracy as a plausible one.
