You are going to be mighty sheepish if (and with a fair probability, when) someone else confesses. Really? Then why did DW's attorney say that Westerfield led a good life except for a three-day weekend of terror if he thought his client was innocent?

(I mean ironic in the sense that obviously Feldman would not want to state that Westerfield perpetrated terror -- he was not accused of anything amiss that weekend other than the murder. So the meaning has to be the terror he allegedly suffered.)
