complete change of subject here... i just dropped xsbrownie at the library for some tutoring and went to pay for the little paperback kid's book that she lost. because it was on HER library card, the librarian informed me that it was against the library board's regs and the state of VA's PRIVACY laws for her to tell me whether or not my 8 year old had an overdue or lost book. I did not have her card with me (nor did i have the library's notice to me of the lost book with me, either), and the librarian did eventually cough up the fact that yes indeed, xsbrownie had taken out Fluffy Goes to School and it was $3.99. But she said she could get in trouble for telling me that, even though she sympathized. i imagine it is to protect xsbrownie's RIGHTS to take out pornography from the library w/o my knowledge!

I wish Ron Paul all the luck in the world... but he is up against a big-time status quo crowd in Congress.
