I've been laying a bit low this week - think I wound up with the same food poisoning of Bella on Monday and still hadn't shaken it yesterday.

Was all set to jon the class this morning as I was watching the service at the Pentagon. I'm not sure who was speaking at the time, but the phrase will never leave me

".....One year ago this morning we were attacked............"

In the midst of the word 'attacked' the power went. and I must admit it scared the beejeesus out of me, living as I do in the shadow of a major East Coast Air Force Base. It was just a tripped transformer, but I wasn't the only onein the neighborhood that was a bit skittish.

after the power came back on, I decided I really wanted to be around other people - so I took myself out for lunch!!!

If it were the wind, I wouldn't have minded. But I heard this POP outside and the TV screen went POW. As one of my neighbors said - I wish they would do something about this transformer that keeps blowing on us.

But we live on the low rent side of town - no one really gives a you know what.
