Thank you, Sherlock, for making this point so succinctly. I wish I had your "succinctitude." Well, it's just with some people it doesn't help to spell it out. This isn't a situation where you explain something in plain English and one of these people will say, "Oh, I see, you're right." That would be honest. I would hope for their sakes they realize the truth. Interestingly a defense attorney cannot legally argue a possible scenario if they know it didn't happen.
