I have no idea if I'm breaking any rules with posting this masterpiece by our departed Maestro....and I honestly don't care - I miss him, and we need him back here....especially at this emotional time.
I'm not talking about any conspiracy, I'm referring to a certain pack mentality.
I understand there's nothing that you can do about it - these individuals will just have to grow up on their own.

Maybe you were not aware of his unceasing irritation of people with whom he disagreed.
Maybe you find yourself on his "side" and were therefore not affected.
Long before he pulled his last little suspendable stunt, he had a pattern of giving as good as he got and often being the instigator.
This whole victim, concerted-effort-against-him story is a crock. He chose to be an antagonist. That's fine, but when he took it one step too far, he got clipped.
Then he turned his reprimand into some sort of juvenile protest. Let's tell it like it is and stop pretending.

Oh, others were certainly not innocent; myself included. That is not the point.
Others have gotten suspensions and been treated unkindly, but found no need to pout or play the innocent victim. THAT is one of several differences.
He took something too far. He is responsible. He was welcome to return. All the choices were his.

Most of us understand that we are nothing special. We don't expect special treatment, special privileges, special rules, etc.
I guess the subject of our discussion is just now discovering that he's not special either.
