In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Usage:Usage: Probity denotes unimpeachable honesty and virtue, shown especially by the performance of those obligations, called imperfect, which the laws of the state do not reach, and can not enforce. Judge Owen is hugely popular with her fellow Texans, 84% of whom voted for her in the last state Supreme Court election. Judicial nominations aren't typically an issue in Senate campaigns, but Democrats have made them one this year. If Mr. Cornyn's election means that Republicans regain Senate control, then President Bush would certainly renominate her. Texas voters would get the judge they want, and Senate liberals the justice they deserve.
It's amusing watching him make the pathetic Conrol fo the Senate plea.....

"I may be a scumbag, but if Forrester wins, the Evil Taliban wing of the Republican party will Control the Senate, and Destroy the environment, and Outlaw Abortions."
I've tried to find something bad about that statement and just can't.
National Democrats launch Torricelli TV ad Trenton- The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee today began airing a 30-second television advertisement that compares incumbent Democratic Sen. Bob Torricelli with his GOP challenger, Doug Forrester, on abortion, gun control and the environment.
The TV ad by the DSCC is the type of straightforward, factual representation of Mr. Forresters positions on core issues that any non-partisan group would include in an objective voters guide," said Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing), the Democratic State Chairwoman.
"The reality of this campaign is that Mr. Forrester is far outside the mainstream of New Jerseys voters on the environment, choice and gun safety. This election is not just Doug Forrester vs. Senator Torricelli, its Doug Forrester vs. New Jersey.
