All the hearing does is determine who is going to be responsible for the cost of the repair work to the exterior of the building. Yup - just the exterior - as long as it is not being used as a rental unit the city has no say as to the condition of the interior.

I've already been told it will not be condemned because of it being an inside unit in a row of 10 townhouses (rowhouses for you folks from the city)- the city would have to compensate the owners of the other 9 because the entire row would then have to be condemned.

I'm beyond speech at this point I am so ticked off.
