In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Oliver North was on the rock radio station this AM, doing an interview about his new book. He was just at Camp LeJeune and Fort Bragg in the past few days and he said they are ready to go and that those 2 groups would be the first to go. He said based on the revamping of equipment etc, that is underway, he expects them to go into Iraq, no later than Christmas.

You gotta love the way Bush put it to congress. In the letter he sent, he basically said, You are invited to participate in the Discussion, but Debate is over. I want your answer by the end of Oct....
Vote no, and go home and face the voters....God I love this guy...

Hey there, tiger. There's a military post about 8 blocks from my hotel in Paris. Should I wear a German uniform and see if they'll surrender it to me?
To: CholeraJoe
did you see him get flattened by Bill McGurn the WSJ editor? there is a thread on FR on this that totally floors me, since i thought it was so obvious that O'reilly was blown out in that exchange and there are freepers arguing that it was the reverse. i need someone that i know to be on the ball to give me their point of view.
