Now that I think about it, mine was the 1.8L engine as well. I was confusing it with my '78 model, which was a 1.6L.

I am confused on how to tell the 1.8 from the 1.6, you need this info to find out which timing belt we need to get. Any pointers on this? At the parts store they said it was probably a 1.6L, but could not be sure. Like I said, we are no experts when it comes to this type of stuff. But you all have been great
