I don't know when Utahn children start school, but Elizabeth should/would be starting the 9th grade, soon. :(
talk about evil....
Nooooo, Jolly stands way above us all !!!!
It doesn't sound like it. All this ranting may make sense to you but it is malicious childishness to me. He never said he gave Ricci a key. If he did because he trusted him at one time, and didn't change the locks, that was a grave error but not deserving of an immature diatribe like this. Grow up, Neenah.
There are many reasons, at least for those of us who feel that Ricci was involved. The vehicle used to transport the victim was previously owned by her family so any trace DNA found in it would be easily refuted in court. That alone would make this an unusual crime. Another factor would be that it appears like a kidnapping for ransom, but no ransom was ever demanded. It would also seem that it was very well planned. The hitch that prevented this from being a potential perfect crime was that Mary Katherine awoke and witnessed the abduction. Coupled with this is the probability that the abductor had no idea he had been spotted until several hours later when the news media grabbed the story. Had Mary Katherine slept through the abduction, then I think that the police would have never mobilized so quickly and probably would never have focused in on Ricci. There would have been no muddy Jeep to return to Moul's on the 8th. We may never know what the original plan was. Were the kidnappers going to ask for their ransom early, within the first few days, or were they going to wait until the police had all but given up on the case to contact the Smarts? I do think that it is safe to assume that if Ricci was the man who entered the Smart home that night, then Elizabeth was doomed no matter what. We know that no mask was used and so Elizabeth would have known who had taken her and would therefore have been a threat.
I just now got the time to go back and do some research on this. From what I can find, today's Deseret News article is the first to mention headache (a classic symptom of a ruptured aneurysm) as one of Ricci's complaints. Five news sources (FOX News, MSNBC, Salt Lake Tribune, KSL.com and the Associated Press) all report only that Ricci was experiencing difficulty breathing when he called for assistance.......none of these news sources reported a headache as being one of Ricci's complaints. It might be noted that among those five news sources, 3 different LE/Correction Dept. spokespersons are named as providers of information.....none of the three mentioned headache as one of Ricci's symptoms.
From the brief reading that I have done on ruptured brain aneurysms, I can find no source which lists breathing difficulties as a commonly related symptom. I have, however, found several sources that list severe headache as the most common symptom.
I just wondered when (and by whom) the headache had been added on as one of Ricci's initial complaints.
I believe that much of the evidence against Ricci is circumstantial. Any forensic evidence that they may have could probably be explained away by a good defense lawyer. Elizabeth's body would certainly offer valuable clues at this point. The location of the body could also show a tie between the mud and pine needles found in the Jeep.
But I am not grown up yet, so it just may be my immaturity. (did I spell that w-r-i-t-e..ahhhh r-i-g-h-t ? )
Again you Smart haters are so chomping at the bit to rip them apart that you're inventing facts again. No one has said Ed Smart gave Ricci a key. This is what Neenah posted and I have no idea where she got it from, she is certainly not a credible source when it comes to the Smarts. She has been nearly salivating posting her anti-Smart rubbish all day long:
In the interview, he was asked why he thought Ricci was involved in this abduction. ONE of the reasons why was..Ricci POTENTIALLY had a key to the house!
Note the shouting, the all caps wording designed to enflame the passions of the Smart-hating simpletons like herself. I would guess, if he said this, since there was no forced entry, they assume he may have stolen a key and had a copy made while working for them. But that wouldn't be salacious enough for you outfits.
What makes you think Ricci had a key that Ed knew about and Ed let him keep it?
Nice to know you've got your quacks in a row.
Nice line!
...nice PR move to bring Henry Lee in...
He's bringing in the #2 modern day Sherlock Holmes (next to myself of course) on the case and you think it's some kind of a show?!?! What this shows is he's waking up again and has as much suspicion of the police in this case as I do.
