Saw Ed on H & C and Larry King tonight. Whoever said he seems to have a new demeanor was right.

IMO, he exudes an air of being off the hook since Ricci's illness. Again, he refused to answer questions about MK recognizing the voice of the alleged kidnapper and also about the mysterious sketch.

I have this strange feeling that Ed Smart thinks Ricci may know who the alleged kidnapper is and is relieved that Ricci may not be able -- or does not want --- to reveal his identity. I still do not believe Ed Smart thinks Ricci is the perpetrator.

Also still feel that Ricci worked around the Smart home long enough to know a lot about the family, their relatives, their friends and acquaintances and their lifestyle. He may have even had access to their computers.

I'm not agreeing w/ you...His name calling, conspiracy all the time, plus there's 2 other names for this same group that we're aware of, has been ongoing from day one..Then you come along to try to smooth things over since you and him are quite friendly...we're all very much aware of what's going on and we're all very much capable of reading what's being said and being done. I arrived home this evening at the right time to watch that "exclusive" interview..exclusive all right--same ol' but they slipped a few times.

Yes, believes was the correct word..I've several thoughts on this exhibition tonite..things are clearer..what about CYNTHIA's comments...these people certainly DO have issues as stated by Tom long ago, MANY...Has anyone ever found out if the entire clan was polygraphed or was that halted when the community got upset over this? These people are not above anyone else, mormon or not, it doesn't matter...someone's getting away w/ an alleged abduction which might really be a runaway, or, possibly a murder which I sincerely doubt..but wait, a RELATIVE gave a TIP yesterday to search Nevada..what the heck, we had another Amber Alert today, so they took the cue and bingo, need to get on the news again..Do they really care about the thousands of other missing kids?

I apologize to the others of you from the O.J. jury whose names I can't recall. Is this some kind of a reunion for you all, communing on this FR thread? Miss the old days sequestered together at the Federal Courthouse in Los Angeles?

I just pray that if I ever murder someone I have the stroke of luck to draw each and every one of you from the jury pool. You are truly gems. I can't imagine how this thread could have possibly accumulated such a like minded collection in nincumpups. All I can say is you truly deserve one another as posting pals here together.

I just felt moved to summarize what seemed to me to be two misunderstandings that were needlessly being perpetuated.

I think most of us on this board who do not have tunnel vision are pretty inured to name-calling by now from JG, sherlock and a few others who are closed to any theory other than "Ricci and his accomplice(s)."

When Alan asked him if MK has said anything about the intruder being Ricci he answered by saying Ricci broke into the Wright's home and grunted while he tip toed around the bedroom. Of course, no response when asked about the voice recognition or the sketch. Of course, LE has a reason for everything.

This grunting Ed spoke about was interesting. So he's saying that Ricci broke into someone's house and made grunting noises loud enough for the hownowners to hear, but they didn't get up and catch the guy? Did they stay in bed? I thought the media said Ricci broke in while the owners slept. This doesn't really make any sense.

Nah, stay. FR is a rough-and-tumble place. Everybody has to deal with some not-too-reasonable criticism from people who don't have anything better to do, but that's just the price of an open forum.
