I don't know when Utahn children start school, but Elizabeth should/would be starting the 9th grade, soon. :(
If you remember correctly, there's been articles on this board about the people having stockpiled food on their shelves in their basements. Plus, since more than 70% of the state is mormon, and the church being as wealthy as it is, the "poor" could easily be helped out. Plus, those tithings that are collected weekly. Why aren't they helping the people.
It is one thing to "learn" about the state, and quite another to feel compelled to share anything negative about the state with other FReepers. Why is it that you never share any positive articles about the state? Aren't you interested in learning and sharing postivie stories? No agenda, that's a laugh!
I have no idea what "postivie" is, but am hoping you meant positive. If you notice, most of the time I post entire articles which contain positive and negative things..but since you think you've gained the award to "police" this thread, you're worried about being scrutinized. Give it a rest JG, and let the chips fall as they may! Why cover things up no matter where and what they are anywhere!
Most if not all indications point to Ricci as being the guy who went into the house. I know that position is not popular among some posters here. I do believe that LE and the Smart family have become convinced that Rick is the guy. His accomplice would be worried about Ricci giving him up. He may not care one whit about MK. She would have never seen him.

Absolutely..They have sort of returned to normal life, remember they had a 4th of July party. The authorities have their job to do and that's to investigate what happened to Elizabeth, where she is, who's responsible, and the authorities should prosecute whoever is involved without any questions.
Anything is possible.
Everyone on this thread is "grasping at straws" --- since there are pitifully few facts to go on.
As I've said before, I'd say they're watching the person who's involved and waiting for them to screw up big time! There's too many obvious oddities from day one in this case. But, the fact remains and there's no escaping this, one day when they're number is called, they're going to answer to the man above for this.
I agree and have from day 1. LE is hoping either the alleged kidnapper or the person who helped her run away will tip his hand.
I still go back to an early plea by Lois Smart (paraphrasing), telling the person involved that it wouldn't work out for him to have her for himself -- words to that effect. That's not something one would say to a suspected bonifide kidnapper. Those were words that sounded like the mother suspects someone either took her or cajoled her into leaving so he could have constant access to the girl.
Do you mean that Elizabeth may have been taken into the slave market? I haven't seen anyone disagree that that might be a possibility. I certainly have suspicion of the police. On the Westerfield thing, I thought you were one of the people that follow that, must be someone else.
