Good morning. Interesting link about bouffant hair.

Back in the 60's my dad and stepmom were married. My sister and I were in their wedding. My stepmom's hairdresser gave us huge, bouffant hairdos for the occasion according to my stepmom's wishes.

I had shoulder length hair and the process included teasing the hair straight out from the head with a metal comb. This process was so severe it made my eyes tear, then my hair was styled twelve inches high complete with pink ribbons. I looked like a French Poodle. It took me three days to brush my hair back to its normal state. Ouch.
