It'd be nice for the pirates to get together again next year and maybe even on Treasure Island by St. Pete if Tampa gets the Republican National Convention in 2004!

That would be awesome. Work and family doesn't allow me to travel far at this point in my life, but anything like this in my own backyard, I'M THERE!

Yes, that is definitely my backyard too. Maybe it would work out in 2004 if Tampa gets the convention. It would be an awesome backyard event to be at or near the RNC convention and having our own event too. Since we have the Pirate Chapter (unofficial) up and running, if I hear anything locally about the convention, I'll post it on the Pirate Thread.

FR would have awhile plan a get together on Treasure Island and hard core long term freepers can do the hard stuff and us locals can serve in advisory capacities.
