I trust that Lasorda's "Great Dodger in the sky" has a spot for Roseboro in the starting line up.

Perhaps not in the starting lineup (you're not going to bump Roy Campanella, after all) but assuredly as a late defencive replacement. Roseboro was just as adept handling the Dodger relief corps (such as Ron Perranoski and Phil "The Vulture" Regan) as the starting rotation, and he had an equal enough arm to go after the late-inning road runners.
