IMHO I find no fault on CNN's part...

Those tapes need to be seen and not covered up...in all there horror.

It was a kick in the gut ...that this country needs to see.

I don't object to them showing the tapes. I object to them holding them and not turning copies over to the government the minute they got them.

There could be clues on those tapes that would help us track people down. Now that they are being shown without the government seeing them first, al Qaeda has advance warning that we know. That is what has Utah Girl and me upset.

We could have seen the exact same tapes and they could have duped copies for the government at the same time. They obviously have been holding onto information of national security for their own purpose of ratings and a scoop. Supposed there was a chemical attack on NYC or D.C. or somewhere in the States and they did not release those tapes ? They then would most likely act like they never had them or say that they obtained these tapes that CNN had supplied to the government and the Bush administration decided to not show it.

Seems to me CNN played safe and made sure there was no immediate attacks ready to happen before they released this.
