One morning I was listening to Dr. Laura & she read a letter from a lady who said she was one of the jurors on that Avila trial..basically the letter explained how the lady felt terrible....evidentally, as one stated already, it was a matter of no physical evidence, children testifying & some of the jurors thought that the mothers may have been lying to "get revenge"... who knows for what...maybe the women were ex-girlfriends or something.

Anyhow, its a shame when true criminals are let free though..our justice system isn't perfect. I do feel horrible for that poor little girl & for her family I saw pics of her, she was a beautiful child....for me, the conclusion is WATCH YOUR LITTLE ONES LIKE A HAWK!!!!!!

Yet another liberal feminist societal injustice coming home to roost. There were many men accused of child abuse in divorce cases just to get a better deal, and it worked for a while; but then the pendulum started to swing the other way and judges just dismissed those accusations out of hand.....and little Samantha suffered as a result.

Thanks for the insight on the Dr. Laura show! I can't imagine how badly the jurors must have felt after Samantha's mom blamed them.
