Far too many! It makes you wonder what can be done. I just shake my head and am speechless, which says alot if you know me.

I also wonder what can be done. I do think that the media spotlight that is coming to these abductions of late will help. It seems like crimes against children were often ignored and that was like giving these pedophiles a green light. The focus that we have on catching these people right now will help deter future attacks. I think that Elizabeth's ordeal may someday be looked upon as the catalyst that brought about this change in attitude.

I think the Elizabeth Smart case has really brought this issue to the forefront. I hope we can somehow rise above this scourge of outright disgusting behaviour. I am quite confidant that in many of these cases it is a repeat offender who is committing these things. Makes one wonder about the criminal justice system.

I still like my idea of a minor change in the laws that would allow these perps to be judged by a jury of the abducted child's father's peers. (Of course I might have to change my nickname to Hangem' High.)

I just posted on the new thread something to do with the hanging tree. I don't think it would be a bad idea to have a jury of that make-up.

If you did change your name what kind of animation would someone come up with to go with the new moniker?

As you're aware, people read and understand the name for what it says...I'm certain you'd get a LOT of messages then! LOL :-)
