I see on cop shows all of the time where the police lie to people and tell them they failed the poly, when in fact they passed. It works a lot of times to get guilty people to go ahead and fess up. But I still don't think it's right. I think it should be against the law for policeman or anybody else to lie to people they are interrogating. I don't care if it DOES make their jobs easier.

That's because the polygraph "lie detector" test is a load of feces.
Pseudo-scientific chicken entrails on a rock, designed to intimidate people into answering questions that are legally void, hoping a incriminating answer will slip out.
